Our Story
The Voice Of Deliverance is an Apostolic Religious Organization that was founded in 1982 by
Chief Apostle Leon Wallace.
This Apostolic Ministry whose Headquarter Church is located in Nassau, offers members and visitors a chance to become a part of something greater. To grow in the love of God and receive strong Biblical teachings that would enable them to combat the enemy
We are rooted in the stories of the Bible and believe worship is something that can be expressed in everything we do. Our philosophy is founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, there’s a special place for you at our church.

The Founder
Chief Apostle Leon Wallace, D.D., O.B.E., J.P., K.C
Apostle Leon Wallace is the General Overseer of The Voice of Deliverance Organization where he has devoted his life to proclaiming the gospel and has been doing so for the past 50 plus years worldwide.
In the year 1975, during a time of fasting and prayer the Lord appeared to Chief Apostle in a vision, giving him a letter bearing the name, “Voice of Deliverance Disciple Center.” Thus, the first church within the Voice of Deliverance organization was inaugurated on October 3rd, 1982 Cordeaux Avenue.
Ten (10) years later, his Apostolic calling demonstrated its authenticity by the growth of its newly established headquarters, Voice of Deliverance Disciple Center Temple, Deliverance Way, Malcolm Allotment East. The Voice of Deliverance Organization currently has thirteen (13) churches throughout the Bahamas, the United States, Africa, Jamaica and Haiti.

What Do We Believe?
We Believe:
In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.
That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion, and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
That Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.
In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
